- 2. Community Members could inquire about the status of a project via SMS and receive instant replies.
- 3. NGO Users could post project details directly into the system, which then triggered the Kannel SMS Gateway to broadcast updates to the community.
The solution involved:
- 1. Installing, configuring, and customizing the Kannel Open Source WAP and SMS gateway to fit the unique requirements of the project.
- 2. Integrating Kannel with a PHP-based tool, which managed the outgoing SMS messages.
- 3. Ensuring seamless message delivery with the system capable of handling over 20,000 SMS messages per month.

The implementation of the SMS Gateway solution provided significant benefits:
